1. Identification and acceptance
Koudt is a personal brand operated by its owner as a natural person domiciled in Peru: Jair Edson Revilla Arroyo, National ID (DNI) 47681389, domiciled at Av. Mello Franco 630, Apartment 1608, Jesús María, Lima, Peru. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the koudt.dev website and the Aniping and Saldados apps (together, "the Services"). Each app also has its own dedicated terms page (koudt.dev/legal/aniping/terms/ and koudt.dev/legal/saldados/terms/) with the content that specifically applies to it.
By using any of the Services, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the relevant Service. If you access the Services on behalf of a minor authorized under the "Minors" section of the Privacy Policy, you confirm that you have the necessary authorization.
When you download Aniping or Saldados from the App Store or Google Play, you also accept that store’s standard terms of use (the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or Google Play Terms of Service, as applicable), which apply in addition to these.
2. Nature of the service
Aniping is an anime tracking and notification tool. It does not stream, distribute, or host episodes, and it does not replace any streaming service — it only informs you about releases and helps you organize what you follow.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for all activity occurring on your account. Notify us immediately at aniping@koudt.dev if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Third-party catalog metadata
Catalog information (synopses, images, broadcast schedules) comes from public third-party sources and may contain inaccuracies, delays, or changes beyond our control. We do not guarantee the accuracy of this information.
5. Notifications and anti-spoiler mode
We make reasonable efforts to deliver timely notifications and hide revealing content when you enable anti-spoiler mode, but we cannot guarantee exact delivery or that no notification will ever contain an unintended spoiler — delivery depends on third-party services (Expo, Apple, Google) beyond our full control.
6. Automated recommendations
The recommendations shown by Aniping are automatically generated suggestions based on your activity. We do not guarantee that they will match your tastes, and they do not constitute any assessment of you as a person.
7. Your content
The notes, ratings, and other content you add to your library are yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that content solely to operate the app for you — we do not share it with other users or use it for purposes other than those described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Artificial intelligence features
When a Service includes a feature that uses artificial intelligence (for example, automated recommendations in Aniping or, in the future, voice dictation in Saldados), that feature produces automated suggestions based on your own activity or voice, not judgments or guaranteed truths. We do not guarantee that its results are accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular circumstances.
No output generated by artificial intelligence in our Services constitutes financial, legal, medical, or professional advice of any kind. In particular, no Saldados feature assesses your financial situation or ability to pay — it only helps you record more quickly what you decide to enter. You are responsible for reviewing and, where appropriate, correcting any automatically generated result before relying on it.
9. Intellectual property
The name "Koudt", the names "Aniping" and "Saldados", their logos, interfaces, text, illustrations, and the Services’ source code are the property of the owner or are used under license, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No license is granted over these elements except the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services in accordance with these terms.
The catalog content shown by Aniping (titles, synopses, cover images, airing calendars) comes from third-party sources of public anime metadata (see the Aniping annex) and is the property of its respective rights holders; Koudt does not claim ownership of that content and displays it solely for informational purposes.
10. External links and services
The Services may include links or integrations with third-party sites and services (for example, signing in with Google, Apple, or Discord, or links to app store listings). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of those third parties. Use of those services is governed by their own terms.
11. Limitation of liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except those that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, statutory consumer guarantees in the European Union or in Peru, which are not affected by this clause).
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Koudt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Services, including loss of data, recorded loans, or access to notifications. Nothing in this clause limits liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, or damages that cannot be excluded under the applicable law in your jurisdiction.
The Services may not be available at all times due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure provider failures, or causes beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
12. Subscriptions, advertising, and charges
When Aniping or Saldados offers a paid plan, it will be sold as a subscription that automatically renews at the end of each period (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan), unless you cancel it before the renewal date. The price will be shown in your local currency in the relevant store listing before you confirm the purchase.
The Apple App Store and Google Play are the merchants of record for these subscriptions: they manage billing, automatic renewal, and refunds. Any refund request must be made directly to Apple or Google under their respective policies — we do not process refunds directly because we are not the charging party.
If you live in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU. Please note that if you expressly agree for digital content or premium access to begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal by doing so (as is commonly requested in the store’s own purchase flow), that right ends at that time under the Directive itself; if you did not provide that express consent, the 14-day right remains. Outside the European Union, refunds are governed by Apple’s or Google’s standard policy for your region, because they are the merchant of record for the transaction — we do not impose a different rule here because we are not a party to the charge.
If Aniping offers advertising in its free plan in the future, the processing of your data for that advertising will be governed by the “Advertising, subscriptions, and charges” section of the Privacy Policy.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or cancel your access to a Service if you breach these terms, if we detect fraudulent or abusive use, or if required by law. You may stop using any of the Services and request deletion of your account at any time, as described in the relevant product’s annex.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru, without prejudice to consumer-protection rules of your country of residence that may be mandatorily and non-waivably applicable (for example, consumer-protection regulations in the European Union or your country in Latin America).
Before initiating any legal action, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute directly by writing to hello.world@koudt.dev. If the dispute is not resolved within a reasonable time, the parties submit to the competent courts of Peru, unless the consumer-protection regulations of your country of residence grant you the right to bring the matter before your own local courts, a right these terms do not intend to limit.
For consumers in Peru: under the Consumer Protection and Defense Code (Law No. 29571), we are working on making a Complaints Book (Libro de Reclamaciones) available to Peruvian consumers before offering paid billing in the country.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the Services or in applicable regulations. If the change is material, we will notify you within the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use of a Service after the effective date of a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
16. Contact
For any question about these terms, write to us at hello.world@koudt.dev. For Aniping-specific inquiries, you can also write to aniping@koudt.dev.
